This is my submission to 
's Fairytale contest. I decided to depict the story of "The Blue Bird" with Florine and Prince Charming, which originated in France. It's a tale of jealous stepmothers, witches curses, gifts of jewels from an ensorcelled Prince, and a trial of 4 eggs that eventually reunites the two lovers together. Read more here.
And yes, I may have based Prince Charming on Benedict Cumberbatch...Can you blame me?
